Malinda Hall attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas before receiving both her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Arts degrees from the University of Tulsa in Speech Pathology. Career opportunities have included bookkeeping for her husband's business, dropping in and out of the public schools as a speech therapist, and a short stint as an English and math teacher. Volunteer opportunities have included working in the public schools, church, hospital, swim teams etc., mostly in the name of motherhood. Various states she has called home include Michigan, Texas, Ohio, New Mexico, Oklahoma and California.
